My dad was an avid fly fisherman, but he's in a seniors' home now. I haven't asked him yet, but he's a good writer and uses the computer, so I might see if he can help me out with this site by contributing some fly fishing articles or fly fishing tips. Watching my dad tie flies and accompanying him to a trout stream was always a great pleasure. This is his racing pigeon site.
I never mastered fly fishing, but I used to troll for trout on Alice Lake (Vancouver Island, British Columbia), where the water was so clear you could see the trout rising to your lure. We'd be eating breakfast minutes after catching it. There was nothing better.
